Supply-Side CTV Operations & Ad Tech Specialist (3+ Years Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply-Side CTV Operations & Ad Tech Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Connected TV (CTV) supply-side platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep operational expertise in CTV ad serving, SSAI workflows, and programmatic monetization, and will be comfortable working across multiple clients, technologies, and ad stacks in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong technical understanding, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, publishers, and programmatic demand partners.

Key Responsibilities

CTV Supply-Side & Ad Operations

  • Manage and optimize CTV inventory monetization across multiple supply-side platforms and video ad servers.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SSAI-based ad delivery, ad pods, and server-side ad stitching workflows.
  • Oversee ad pod construction, pod timing, fill optimization, and competitive separation for CTV environments.

Platform & Technology Management

Seamlessly move between different ad tech stacks and platform interfaces to support multiple publisher and client setups.

Work hands-on with supply-side and ad-serving platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Springserve / Magnite
  • Publica
  • Adtelligent
  • FreeWheel
  • Elemental TV
  • Indicue
  • Aniview

Google Ad Manager (GAM) experience is a plus; however, experience with non-GAM video ad servers will be given priority consideration.

Programmatic & Yield Optimization

  • Apply a strong understanding of programmatic mechanics, including auctions, deal types (PMP, PG, Open Auction), and demand sources.
  • Actively manage and optimize the CTV yield curve, balancing fill rate, CPM, and overall revenue performance.
  • Analyze delivery, fill, and performance data to identify monetization gaps and optimization opportunities.

Troubleshooting & Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot VAST, VMAP, and SSAI-related issues, including ad request failures, pod misconfigurations, and delivery discrepancies.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to ad tags, creatives, targeting, pacing, and measurement across CTV environments.
  • Act as a bridge between technical operators and client-facing teams, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.

Cross-Functional & Client Collaboration

  • Work closely with publishers, demand partners, engineering teams, and programmatic buyers to ensure smooth ad delivery and monetization.
  • Confidently communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including clients and partners within the CTV and programmatic ecosystem.
  • Support onboarding of new publishers, inventory sources, and ad stacks, ensuring best-practice implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in supply-side ad operations with a strong focus on Connected TV (CTV).

Hands-on experience with CTV ad servers, SSPs, and SSAI workflows.

Solid understanding of programmatic advertising fundamentals and CTV-specific inventory dynamics.

Proven ability to troubleshoot ad tags and resolve complex delivery and monetization issues.

Experience managing multiple clients, platforms, and priorities in a high-pressure environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive yield improvements.
